With just a weekend to re-define hospitality, the SW/TCH competition challenged my partner and I to “explore new possibilities and come up with innovative and unorthodox solutions that can enhance and change the boundaries of hotel architecture.”
THE CONCEPT
Everything you need during an ultra-short trip, conveniently located and affordable
Designed as a quick stopping point for stranded travelers, city-hopping backpackers, and business travelers in town for the day, our hotel has no rooms! But it does serve as what these ultra-short-stay travelers need: a place to call home base. Our modular, responsive services offer the essentials to support a great day out and about: showers, luggage storage, a quick bite, work spaces, and power nap opportunities.
